Here's How to Make the Most of the Leads from Your Monthly Leads Subscription

These leads are different from the average leads you can buy elsewhere. These individuals already filled out a form indicating a high level of interest in starting a home based business or earning extra cash. They’ve provided not just their email address, but also their full name and phone number.

Although they expressed this interest a few weeks ago and their information has been previously sold to other marketers, our test results indicate that the vast majority still have a high level of interest, have not yet been contacted by anyone else by phone, and are still looking for the right opportunity.

You can be the first to connect with them by phone and point them toward your opportunity!

Your goal for these calls is to make contact with the lead, build a little rapport, assign them a task (get them to visit your website), and book a follow-up call. Do not try to sell them on your opportunity on the first call. Talk to them in a friendly way and use the script below as a guide. Just BE REAL, RELAXED and UPBEAT…as if you were talking to your neighbor or returning a call to a friend!

The first 10 seconds of the call will set the tone for your success or failure of having a quality, open and honest conversation. So, don’t use the age-old telemarketing approach of formerly asking if Mr. or Mrs. _______ is there. Be careful about asking, “How are you doing today?” For most people, that question immediately sends off a “salesman signal” and the risk of a bad answer is far greater than the reward of an insincere “good”.

Remember – this is not cold calling. These people have already expressed an interest in a home-based business and are receptive to information because they requested it.  So take a deep breath, relax, and start dialing.

First Call Phone Script

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you acess the phone script by clicking Call Contact button on the Contact Details page, your information and the Contact's information will be merged into the phone script content.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The text in bold below is what you should speak. The text not in bold has instructions on what to do.

Hi [FirstName], this is [AccountFirstName] calling from [AccountState].

You responded on <Date the Lead was Acquired by the Vendor> wanting to learn more about starting your own home business – or earning some additional income from home.

I’m calling to provide the information you requested.

Is now a good time? Do you have a few minutes to talk?

I’m sure that you’ve heard from a few companies by now. Have you found what you’re looking for yet?

If they have not, give them the task of going to your presentation site.

OK, great – I’d really like for you to take a look at my website and I’ll also shoot it over in an email after our call. It’ll give a really good idea of what we’re doing and how you can get involved.

I’d like to give you a call back on <1-2 days from now> at <time>- that should give you a chance to take a look around and we can chat about it then. Does that work for you?

If they have, ask them what it is; you should still ask them to take a look into your opportunity (give them your presentation site)– they will not have too much time invested in the other opportunity yet.

OK – I’d still really like for you to take a look at my website  and I’ll also shoot it over in an email after our call. It’ll give a really good idea of what we’re doing and I’d love to hear what you think about it.

Try to avoid answering specific questions about your opportunity on this call. If you have a presentation conference call you can have them dial into that night or the following night, let them know they can get all of their questions answered at that time.

As soon as you’re done with the call, do these four things:

1.  Send out the email with your website URL

2.  Change the category on their contact record to your appropriate opportunity leads category so they get your targeted messages

3.  Enter notes about their level of interest based on your conversation

4.  Mark your calendar so you remember to call them back at the time you arranged – set your calendar reminder

Common Objections

Here are some Common Objections you may hear and some good responses to try to bring them back into the discussion:

I’m no longer interested.

Just to confirm, you were looking to earn income from home previously, correct?

May I ask, what has changed since you requested this information?

This is not the right time because of (money/time/health/family)

I understand. When do you think this situation might change? I would love to keep in touch with you. Do you mind if I call you back at that time to see how you’re doing?

I don’t remember signing up for this information – which website was yours?

Just to confirm, is this [FirstName] at [PrimaryPhone]?

OK great, I see in my records that you responded <Date the Lead was Acquired by the Vendor> . Unfortunately, I can’t be sure which site you responded to since I have several ads and sites online; all I can tell is that you requested to learn more about earning income from home - is that correct?
